For this assignment, I was told to create 3 different versions of my logo. I used the shape tool, and text function. I used the shape tool to create the circle around my letters, and the text function to fill in with letters. First, I created 4 circles. Then, I added a larger circle with a darker shade behind the first circle to create a shadow look. Lastly, I organized, and added the letters on top of the circles. I think that the most challenging thing about this was lining up the two circles so that they matched up correctly. Although there were certain difficulties I faced while creating my logo, I think it turned out pretty neat at the end. The name of my brand is "Nael's Bubblegum Factory" I decided to create my logo like this because I wanted to give the sense that it was related to "bubbles". Each of letters in my name is in a bubble, with other smaller bubbles around it. This logo represents by brand because it shows that it is colorful, and explains how it relates. to my brand of bubblegums. I think that this logo is my personal favorite of all three examples because it really helps to make. the letters stand out more, as it gives it more attention. the other two has a shadowy look, whereas this one is more spread out.

Color SchemeFor this Color Scheme Assignment, I create 4 color palettes from Adobe Color which helped me to find the exact colors. The first was a monochromatic palette. A monochromatic palette has one hue, with different saturations and levels of brightness. The second palette was an analogous palette and it contains hues that are next to each other on the color wheel. The third palette was a complementary palette combines hues that are from the opposite sides of the color wheel. Lastly, the triad palette combines 3 hues evenly spaced around the color wheel. I faced similar challenges like I did for the color names assignment, such as alignment and spacing. However, in the end, it turned out pretty nice, so I'm proud of it. Color NamesFor this assignment, I picked different colors from the color wheel and recorded the RGB values and the hexadecimal code below. I created a square with different shades of purple in particular. Some challenges I have faced during this assignment was aligning the squares and making them all the same size. Although it was pretty difficult to do so, I used the tools in Gravit to guide me to alter the shapes and alignment. I personally think that I could have been more creative, in terms of shapes, but I still think it looks pretty neat and well-done overall!
Topography is the way you display a written word. It can be very significant because it helps the reader to understand the image a writer might be wanting to portray. I think that the quote, "Each font has a personality and purpose" means that not one of the fonts are the same, but they are all unique in their own ways and display their own meanings one by one. The five different font types I learned is Serif, San-Serif, Monospaced, Script, and Display. Serif has "feet" and is used for large number of texts. On the other hand, San-serif is like the opposite of Serif, as it does not have any "feet" attached. Monospaced is usually used for coding, as it has the same amount of space between each letter. Script is is displayed by calligraphy or cursive. Therefore, it is considered to be good for creating logos, or large headlines. Last but not least, Display is when the font is very elegant and extra, and is it used to grab people's attention. However, you should not use it in large blocks of text because it could be very overwhelming. Typeface ComparisonFor this activity, I chose the word "Aquarius" and wrote it in different fonts to observe the contrast between each one of them. Word PortraitsFor this activity, I found 2 words for each font. One that matches well to the meaning, and one that does not go well with the meaning of the font. I found 10 matches, or 20 words in total.
In this lesson, I was assigned to use the pen tool on Gravit in many different ways. The Pen Tool is a tool on Gravit that allows me to create lines or curves as shapes. The first lesson was mostly about the basics of using a pen tool like creating certain shapes like a star, lightning bolt, etc. The second lesson was about curving lines in order to create a complex image. Lastly, the last exercise, was about using straight, cured, and corner lines to create a complex illustration. An image I created using the pen tool was Dolphins swimming on Earth. I faced many challenges such as the Gravit website lagging, cropping out the dolphins correctly, etc. However, at the end, I was able to neatly figure out everything!
For the shape scenes summative, I drew a representation of a Christmas tree. This is because Christmas is my favorite holiday, and the festive atmosphere of the whole idea of Christmas makes me very cozy. I drew myself next to a beautiful, intricate Christmas tree with presents, and a "Ho Ho Ho" lettering!
In this lesson, I learned how to edit different types of shapes in many ways. I have also learned how to control. the shapes however I wish!
In this lesson, I learned how to organize, and group shapes and patterns together. I have also learned how to align many shapes in a line.
In this lesson, I learned how to create different types of various borders by using different tools. Furthermore, I learned how to make shapes transparent.
In this lesson, I learned how to edit the color, the size and to modify the shapes in Gravit. My favorite element from this lesson was being able to learn that pressing the "shift" key will make any line straight automatically.
For this activity, I learned how to create an account, and how to work on Gravit. Gravit is a designer program where you can freely work on whatever you wish. I think it is a great program since you can get really creative on it.
